After you download

    Run the installer

    Double-click the downloaded file and accept the defaults. Windows SmartScreen may ask you to confirm because the file is new to it - choose "More info", then "Run anyway".

    Try it on real files

    Open the program and give it a folder of your own pictures or a video. Nothing is locked away - see for yourself how it handles your work.

  3. 3

    Register when ready

    Buy a licence key, then open Help → Registration in the program, enter your name, email and key, and press Submit. Restart the program and it is fully registered.

System requirements

Operating system
Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11, 32-bit or 64-bit. Picture Resize Genius, Video Snapshots Genius and Auto Shutdown Genius also run on Windows Server 2008-2016.
Older Windows
Photo Frame Genius and Auto Shutdown Genius still install on Windows XP and Vista.
Processor and memory
Any PC that runs Windows comfortably. Large batches finish faster with more cores and RAM, but nothing is required.
Disk space
Under 50 MB for each program, plus room for the pictures or frames you produce.
Video formats
Video Snapshots Genius plays MPEG, AVI, WMV, DivX, FLV, RealMedia, QuickTime and DVD without extra codecs or players.
Administrator rights
Not needed to run the programs. The installer asks for the usual confirmation on first install, and Auto Shutdown Genius asks once to register its Windows service.
