Register the program with your licence key

Registration turns the free download into a fully licensed copy. It takes about a minute, needs a short internet connection, and keeps every setting and template you have already made.

Step by step

    Install the latest version

    Download the current build from the download page and run it over your existing copy. Older builds may not recognise recently issued keys.

    Copy the key from the email

    Open the licence email, highlight the whole key - including the numbers before the first hyphen - and press Ctrl+C. The key is also on your order page.

    Open Help → Registration

    Start the program, click the Help menu and choose Registration.

    Enter your details and submit

    Type your name and the email address you bought with, paste the key with Ctrl+V, and press Submit. The program contacts our licence server and downloads your licence data.

    Press OK and restart

    When the licence data has downloaded, press OK and restart the program. The title bar no longer says "unregistered" and every feature is unlocked.

"The licence is not available"

Nearly always a typo. Paste the key from the email rather than retyping it, and include the numbers before the first hyphen. Keys are also product-specific: a Picture Resize Genius key will not register Batch Watermark Creator.

"Activated on the maximum number of devices"

Each key registers one computer. If you have replaced or reinstalled the PC and the key is now refused, send us the key and we will reset it for the new machine.

The PC has no internet

Registration needs one outbound HTTPS connection to software.otpos.com; after that the program never needs the network again. If the machine is permanently offline, contact us and we will register it another way.

Lost the key

Have it emailed again from the licence recovery page. You will need the address you used at checkout.
